Skaters' drop-in

Some of our skaters lit candles in memory of the Tsunami victims

The Skaters' Drop-In has been running at the Arches since October 2003, every Monday night from 7-9pm (including school holidays, but not bank holidays). Entry is free but my membership card only - sign up on your first visit. There's very little structured content - it's a place to turn up, hang out, chat up, chill out. We offer a variety of games, beanbags, a tuckshop and the occasional special event (like when YTV broadcast the whole of Calendar News from the Drop-In one night in May 2004). There are over 190 members, but not everyone comes every week, so we average about 60 each Monday night.

Pool...   Table tennis...

Looking fab...   Lounging around on the beanbags...

Getting in a twist...   Descending on the tuckshop...

...and the day YTV's Calendar News did the whole show as a live broadcast from the Skaters' Drop-in (March 2004)
