Our October 2006 men's weekend away was at Marrick Priory, an outdoor activity centre operated by a Christian charity, in peaceful Swaledale, west of Richmond.
Around 35 Trinity men from their early 20s to their 70s relished the opportunity to go back to the wild (well, for the weekend, anyway).
A fantastic time was had by all, as Barry Crompton writes:
“It was a great success. Everybody enjoyed the opportunity to spend time together and to get to know each other a lot better in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Bryan Mason spoke very powerfully and there was a real sense of fellowship throughout the weekend. Many people have come away challenged to look at their own relationship with God and how they can best serve God in their own situation.” |

Another man said, "I was proud to take a friend along - and show them that we could do something really good, that wasn't cheesy at all."
