2 April 2007
Around 40 toddlers and young children (plus assorted mums, dads, childminders and grandparents!) enjoyed baking hot-cross buns, making palm fronds, colouring in and singing when they went on a ‘Journey to Jerusalem' at Holy Trinity Ripon on Monday 2 April.
The annual event helps to engage young children with the Easter story, and the journey they follow as they travel around the church building, upstairs and downstairs, helps to explain Jesus' progression into Jerusalem towards the cross. Since the event is well-attended by the members of Little Fishes (Holy Trinity's toddler-and-carer group), its is also a popular social activity. |
