In May 2006, Holy Trinity Ripon staged a spectacular flower festival featuring 20 arrangements created by Ripon Flower Club, based on scripture verses. The theme for the event was 'To God be the Glory'.

All proceeds from the event - a total of £1,500 - went to support the young people's work at the cathedral in Asuncion, Paraguay. Specifically, the money went towards a much-needed vehicle to enable a cathedral team to take a toy library out to street children, teaching them essential play skills.
