Free drama: sketches & plays

At Holy Trinity Ripon, we are blessed with more than our fair share of dramatic talent within the congregation. Two of our members, in particular - Richard Langley and Chris Crow - have long delighted us with their humourous sketches and short plays.

We are now making some of these available to other Christian groups or schools to perform. You can download them here, and they are free to use. All we ask is that you reference the copyright (on each script) in some way.

Some of the sketches follow an Alas Smith and Jones style of delivery. All contain humour - some are hilarious; others are more poignant. All are entirely relevant in bringing the messsage of Christ to contemporary society.

Most of them are based around Christmas - a time when we are more likely to have visitors in our churches.

Please read the introduction before reading any of the scripts. All of the files are Word documents.
