| Eating for Africa - for Oxfam |

Over 200 people came through our doors, representing a real cross-section of our community, when we held a breakfast in support of Oxfam's biggest-ever food crisis appeal, East Africa.
We were full from shortly after we opened at 7am - and stayed that way until 10:30. We welcomed teachers, soldiers, ministers, police officers, our mayor and lady mayoress... the newborn, and the retired... and we raised
£600
after food costs for this worthy cause. Loads of people asked us if we were doing it every Friday! But we think same time, same place next year will be enough. You can find out more about Oxfam's biggest food appeal in its 60-year history - and donate online - by clicking here.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came and made the event so special, and to everyone who worked so hard both back- and front-of-house.
